DMPK-(Assistant) Director, ADME

Summary Experienced incumbent to design and lead the research and services in in vitro ADME studies including permeability, distribution, metabolism, CYP inhibition and induction, CYP phenotyping, UGT phenotyping, and transporters. This position requires supervision of different levels of scientists and managing day to day operation of groups. Excellent oral and written communication skills are critical requirements. Expertise in areas of ADME is essential. Expertise or knowledge in automation, PK, DMPK representation in drug discovery/development program, analytical, or prior experience with new modalities is a plus Duties and Responsibilities 1. Lead the research and services of in vitro ADME studies (including permeability, distribution, metabolism, CYP inhibition and induction, CYP phenotyping, UGT phenotyping, and transporters, etc). 2. Provide scientific guidance to DMPK personnel on the above areas 3. Manage daily operation of the functional group 4. Prepare protocol, cost analysis, and quotation suggestion for new business 5. May serve as DMPK representative in integrated program 6. Provide business development strategy and conduct process improvement/optimization. 7. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations of WuXi AppTec, 8. Serve as a role model for others.
