WuXi AppTec is seeking a highly motivated and established associate director/director level candidate with deep and broad Knowledge in assay development, SAR screening, and data analysis to join us. This position will report to senior leader, lead a group of biologists to provide scientific services and solutions to our customers’ drug discovery research needs. Key responsibilities 1. To lead a team of biologists, responsible for team expansion, training, and its daily operation. To enforce and meet EH&S and other operational requirement. 2. To optimize the current assay platform and develop new capabilities to meet market demands. 3. To maintain and expand customer base globally. Promote platform service through collaboration with business development and marketing teams. 4. To work as a team with colleagues across various functions (at department, division, and company levels) in client service as well as capability buildup. 5. Effectively communicate and interface with worldwide business partners, develop and maintain excellent business relationship with internal and external clients. 6. Provide scientific support to BDs and clients and deal with inquiries on WuXi Biology in vitro capabilities and data packs, working closely with the global team. 7. Participate in research projects: CROs may participate in various research project to develop new modality drugs, provide technical and consultation support to client regarding drug discovery and characterization. This may involve answering questions, proving experimental design, and assisting clients with data interpretation.
