Production Control Supervisor-Hydraulic/Electric

DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION Responsible for quality management and testing from fabrication to delivery. This involves comprehensive review of quality/test documents and handling quality issues with stakeholders to deliver optimal quality to the customer. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Ensure that partners and suppliers adhere to MacGregor quality standards, with most time spent on-site. ● Record and follow up on quality deviations and implement continuous improvement actions. ● Supervise hydraulic assembly and test workers at our partners & suppliers. ● Inspect Hydraulically components and assemblies according to MGC holding points and checklists ● Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) inspections with Class surveyors and/or customers. ● Provide training to shipyard personnel and subcontractors producing hydraulic equipment for MacGregor. ● Collaborate closely with engineering to improve quality and production processes ● Production support to our partners/suppliers regarding technical questions. ● Report the inspection record of holding points. ● Support commissioning team and service team for product related questions. ● Assist the technical department in preparing specifications for new products. ● Ensure suppliers meet technical specifications during production. ● Handling other tasks assigned by the line manager. POSITION REQUIREMENTS ● Bachelor degree in engineering preferable ● Technical Competencies such as Mechanical, Electric and Hydraulic ● Industrial Communication Protocols ● Hands-on troubleshooting ability. ● Willingness to travel frequently ● Positive attitude & teamwork mind-set ● Minimum 5 years’ experience in welding, painting, mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical assembly—preferably within shipyard environments. ● Ability to understand and work with technical documentation ● Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in English ● Ability and willingness towards continuous learning ● Collaborative team player ● Clearly proven attention to detai
