Commercial/Project Control Manager

Job Summary: The Project Control & Commercial Manager is accountable for the integrated cost, schedule, risk, change, and commercial management of large-scale offshore and marine EPC projects (e.g., FPSOs, CPPs, FSRU etc.). This dual-role leads the project controls team while owning the full commercial lifecycle—from prime contract administration and subcontractor management to claims, variations, and financial close-out. The role ensures on-budget, on-schedule delivery while protecting margin, mitigating commercial exposure, and maintaining rigorous adherence to project governance.Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Controls Leadership • Establish and maintain the integrated project baseline (scope, cost, schedule) in line with the contract and execution plan. • Direct all planning/scheduling efforts: Level 1-4 schedules, progress measurement, S-curves, critical path analysis, and resource histograms. • Lead the project cost control function: budgeting, commitment tracking, value of work done (VOWD), accruals, cost forecasting, and variance analysis. • Implement and manage the change management process: identify trends, deviations, and scope changes; coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction to quantify impacts. • Drive the risk and opportunity management process: maintain the risk register, run Monte Carlo simulations (schedule/cost), and propose mitigation actions. • Produce consolidated monthly reports (internal and client-facing) including dashboards, productivity metrics, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reports. • Ensure schedule and cost interfaces with subcontractors, suppliers, and consortium partners are actively managed. 2.
