For its subsidiary in Dongguan we are looking for a TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER / TECHNICIAN who takes real ownership of product details, factory execution, and quality. This role is not for coordinators or messengers. We are looking for someone who understands products technically, sees problems early, and ensures that factories execute exactly according to defined specifications. Key Responsibilities: • Technical ownership of products and developments ○ Deep understanding of product design and technical requirements ○ Identifying design weaknesses, risks, and improvement opportunities ○ Driving technically sound improvements together with factories • Ensuring factory execution matches specifications ○ Making sure technical requirements are fully understood and implemented ○ Verifying that production follows drawings, specs, and defined tolerances ○ Actively preventing deviations instead of reacting to failures • Product development & timeline control ○ Feasibility assessment before development starts ○ Tracking tooling, samples, and production milestones ○ Escalating risks early and clearly • Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) ○ Preparing QA and test documentation ○ Defining meaningful test methods and pass/fail thresholds ○ Organizing and executing inspections ○ Completing QC reports and driving corrective actions • Technical documentation & organization ○ Maintaining all technical files (PD files, QC templates, QC reports) ○ Structured file management and version control ○ Clear written communication and summarized reporting (email, documents) • Cross-functional collaboration ○ Close cooperation with the commercial PM on new developments and QA issues ○ Clear reporting and escalation to management Required Qualifications: • Strong technical background (mechanical / electrical / production-related) • Ability to read and understand STP files and technical drawings (mandatory) • Hands-on factory experience ○ Understanding of production processes and materials ○ Experience with QC / QA in a manufacturing environment • Detail-oriented mindset ○ Ability to detect small design or execution issues before they become quality problems ○ Focus on robustness, manufacturability, and consistency • Excellent Excel and Windows file management skills ○ Structured data handling, tracking, and documentation ○ Ability to write clear, structured emails and summarize key points • Ability to work independently, structured, and result-oriented • Basic English skills ○ Work language: Chinese ○ Documentation language: English (AI-assisted translation acceptable) • Ability to independently close technical knowledge gaps using AI as a daily working tool (mandatory).
