Software Development Intern

Reporting to: Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: {onsite} This role is contributing to the { ELSP China MU in Xinhui Planning & Fulfillment }. Main stakeholders are {warehouse continues improvement lead &warehouse supevisor}. You will be mainly accountable for: ● Conduct research, modeling and implementation of bin packing optimization algorithms, and deliver business-aligned automatic packing solutions ● Build desktop/web-based packing tools with core functions of parameter entry, packing visualization and loading rate calculation ● Interface with business data, complete algorithm testing and optimization, and ensure stable tool deployment and on-site availability ● Prepare technical documentation, and support on-site tool deployment and operator training Our team dynamics (Optional) You will join a {dynamic, talented, high performing} team, where you will be able to thrive.
